Go fly a kite!

While we were on the beach, I flew my very first kite! It had Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger on it. It ended up getting it to fly VERY high in the sky!

Everyone said I did really good! And it only got away from me twice. Grandfather chased after it so I didn't lose it! Then he gave it back to me. Thanks, Grandfather!

While on vacation in Gulf Shores, I went to the zoo with Mom, Dad, Granna, Grandfather, and my cousins, William and Caroline. After rebuilding from three hurricanes, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo was recognized on Animal Planet, in which a show detailing the zoo was created. It was entitled The Little Zoo that Could, which is now associated with this Gulf Shores landmark.

At the zoo, we got to feed the animals! It was quite impressive! I got to feed a reindeer, goat, deer, sheep, duck, fish, turtle, swan, and pelican. One goat liked the food so much that it took William's entire cup of food right out of his hand! The cup was stuck on over the goat's mouth until he finished eating! It was pretty funny!

I really liked seeing the monkeys! They are my favorite animal right now! When we are driving from our house to Granna and Grandfather's, we pass through the woods. I always look outside and point at the trees and tell my mom to "Look, monkeys!" I know that monkeys like to climb trees!

We also saw several beautiful lions and tigers. One tiger was cooling off by taking a bath! It was cute!

Vogler Family Beach Trip

Every year, my grandfather's side of the family takes a trip together. It used to be camping, but within the past several years, it has become a beach trip! This year, we went to Gulf Shores, AL. We left Saturday, June 16 and came home yesterday. It was a very long drive there! Luckily, I rode with in the van with my Granna and Grandfather. We watched Elmo, Finding Nemo, more Elmo, Cars, and did I say Elmo?

The pictures below were taken when we first arrived at our house on the beach. I loved it! Can you tell? My pants got so wet that we had to take them off before playing in the sand!

Today, Mommy and I went to the salon! Mommy had an appointment with our cousin, Brenda, for a haircut and color. Mom brought my portable DVD player and lots of Elmo DVDs to occupy my time. I watched for a whole 20 minutes before I started exploring the room. I had a lot of fun!

Mommy looked really funny with the silver foil in her hair! While we were waiting for Mommy's hair to change colors, I got my very first haircut! I got so many compliments about how great I did! Mommy and Brenda were so impressed at how still I sat all by myself in the big chair!

After my haircut, I got to sit on Mommy's chest while she was getting her hair washed. The shampoo spelled yummy, like coconut! I even got a sprayed a little. I really liked sliding off Mom's leg while she was getting her hair blowdried....until I slid off and bumped my head. Luckily, they got finished just in time...I was starting to get a little restless!

Mommy, It's Time to Update the Blog!!!

My mommy has been SO busy with her first year of teaching school that she has not been able to keep my blog up-to-date! But, today was her last day of school and she is determined to update it REGULARLY!!! So, check back often and please feel free to bug her regularly if she falls back into her procrastinating ways!

Hanging out with Madison

At the Wonder Place, we met up with our friends, Jennifer and her daughter, Madison. Mommy worked out with Jennifer during the KATV 12 Week Workout before I was born. They were pregnant at the same time, right after the workout ended. We danced the night away to the songs of Brian Kinder and we shopped together at the Kiddie River Market.

The Wonder Place

Mommy and I went to the Wonder Place for Family Night with Brian Kinder! It was AWESOME! We had a blast! I really loved shopping and cooking in the Kiddie River Market and Cafe! I also enjoyed playing at the water table with McKenna. Mommy and I will definitely be visiting the Wonder Place more this summer!

BUBBLES

I love BUBBLES! After I get washed in my bath, Mommy adds bubbles....lots of 'em! It is SO fun to blow them everywhere!

Spring Break.....

During Spring Break, Mom, Dad, and I went to Branson with Nana Cindy, Papaw, Grandma Dorothy, Aunt Sara, Natalie, Aunt Sandra, and Wade.

We ate at Dixie Stampede, which I loved! The show was good, but I especially liked the horses! Then, we went shopping at the new mall there. I really liked watching the fish at Bass Pro Shop and having a snack at Krispy Kreme. I love my cousins, Wade and Natalie!

Fun at the River!

We went to Riverfest on Friday before Memorial Day! I had a blast making my crown and decorating a sparkling goldfish! I want to wear my crown constantly! It's too cute! I danced a lot listening to Brian Kinder and ate some yummy corn dog! We had a blast hanging out with our friends, McKenna and Presley!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!

Well, Friday was my 1st birthday! We had a party that night! I had SO much fun! Lots of people came, and it was good to see everyone again!

I really didn't eat much of my cake or ice cream. I am not really a sweets kind of girl! I did however have some cantaloupe. And it was delicious! My mom made my birthday cake. It was Funfetti with cream cheese icing. She loves Funfetti cake! We also had a chocolate cake as well.

I really loved opening my presents. Mom helped me, of course!

Heather's 1st Birthday Party

The Saturday before last, my Granna, mom, and I went to my friend, Heather's 1st birthday party! My mom and Christy (Heather's mom) were pregnant at the same time last year. The party was fun. I got to swim with Heather and Michelle (Heather's sister), and my cousin, William.

Stuart Little

Last Saturday, we went to watch the play, Stuart Little. My cousin, Caroline, did an excellent job playing Stuart Little! I surprised my mom, because I was SO good during the play. I did cry once when the yipping dog that was chasing Stuart barked and scared me. But, after my Aunt Nana walked me to the back of the theatre I was fine.

Following the play, I got to get on stage! I danced around a little with my cousin, William. We had fun! I am going to be in a play someday like my cousin, Caroline!

We taped the play and I love watching it on the television. I could watch it over and over again....and I definitely have!

Our Little Dolphin!

Morgan absolutely loves the pool! Grandfather has been working with her to teach her to swim! She is doing so good! She holds her breath really well when she goes under water! I can already see it now, next summer, she will probably live in the pool!
